We are currently in desperate need of tinned dog and cat food for the hedgehogs and other mammals.
If you could help to feed our patients, please get in touch via our contact page or drop off your donation at Brent Lodge.
Thanks in advance!
Because of the postal disruption caused by the snow, we delayed the drawing of the prize-winners of the Brent Lodge Christmas Draw until Thursday 14 January, to ensure that all tickets that had been sent by mail were given a fair chance to get to Brent Lodge.
The winners of the draw were as follows:
£1,000: Mrs E J Hawkins of Earl Shilton, Leicestershire.
£200: Mrs W Chaffey of Chalfont St. Peter, Buckinghamshire.
£100: Mrs D Hilderbrando of Bordon, Hampshire.
£20 of shopping vouchers: Mr D & Mrs J Lesser of Chichester; Mrs S Smith of Pagham; St. Albans Church, Copnor; Mrs D Wooldridge of Climping; Ms C Poyser of Middleton-on-Sea.
The draw raised valuable funds for Brent Lodge, netting over £3,000 profit.
Many thanks to everyone who supported us by purchasing and/or selling tickets.
And to those who didn't win this time around: "Better luck next time!".
Special thanks to staff members Emma Pink and Darren Ashcroft, who battled the snowy conditions to keep Brent Lodge operational around the clock, despite the conditions.
Thanks also to our other staff members who managed to make it in, despite the snow.
Volunteer application forms now online.

Do you shop online with Amazon? If so, then we can now offer you the opportunity to support Brent Lodge as you make online Amazon purchases at no extra cost to yourself.
Our Amazon aStore has all the products that are available on the main Amazon site. Your puchase will still be with Amazon, but by placing your order through our website Amazon will give us a small commission.
Any purchase made through our Amazon aStore will generate us a commission of 5% of the price of the item(s) you buy. Whilst that may not seem much, it all adds up and every penny counts!
We have also highlighted some Bird and Wildlife products that our supporters may find of interest.
So if you are planning on purchasing from Amazon, please consider doing so via our Amazon aStore.

After a brief trial run, we have now opened a new shop in Wittering Walk, East Wittering.
There are lots of bargins waiting to be had, so please drop in and have a browse!
A major part of the funding required to keep the hospital going comes from the sale of donated goods. We are always in need of bric-a-brac, books, clothing, jewellery, unwanted gifts and so forth. However, please note that we are unable to accept electrical items as we are not legally allowed to sell them.
We invite you to drop off any items that you would like to donate at Brent Lodge or at one of our charity shops in Selsey or East Wittering.
We are also in need of volunteers to help out in our shops. If you're interested, you can either pop into one of the shops or give them a call (details below).
Our shops can be found at:
