Sponsorship Pack

Welcome to the Brent Lodge creature sponsorship scheme

Sponsorship helps us enormously with the costs of caring for the creatures at the hospital. We offer the choice of sponsoring a permanent resident, or a hospital patient, or both if you can afford it!

When you sponsor a hospital patient, you are given the opportunity to assign a name to him or her, which will appear on your "Sponsorship Certificate". In addition to the certificate, you will also receive a photograph of the creature you have sponsored.

That's not all! Sponsoring a creature entitles you to one year's full membership subscription to the Trust, which includes our biannual newsletter!

GiftYou are also welcome to sponsor a creature on behalf of someone else, as a gift. Our gift sponsorships have proven very popular in recent years!

We would send your Sponsorship Gift Pack either directly to you, or the recipient of the gift, as per your instruction. You may also choose whether to have the pack gift-wrapped (at no extra cost) in Christmas, Birthday or plain paper, and we will add a tag upon which is written your own personalised message.

Sponsor online now - it's quick and easy!

Once you have decided what kind of creature to sponsor, you will be provided the option to a) Instantly pay online via our secure transaction processor "PayPal", or b) Send your adoption fee to us by post.

We will then contact you using the email address you provided to get any further details we need (for example, the name you wish to assign to your sponsored creature, and so forth).

Additional Information

  • Permanent residents will probably have many sponsors. The costs of housing, feeding and generally looking after those animals that cannot be released are great. Therefore, multiple sponsors help to provide the financial support that is necessary to maintain them.
  • If you choose to sponsor a hospital patient, you will be contributing to the costs of caring for a creature at the hospital. Your sponsorship money is not specifically allocated to any specific species and will go towards the cost of caring for all creatures at the hospital. Sponsoring one of our permanent residents does not necessarily mean your sponsorship money will be exclusively used to provide for that particular resident. However, in reality the costs of caring for our hospital patients and permanent residents is so great that your sponsorship money will in all likelihood go towards funding care for the creature of your choice! But we cannot absolutely guarantee this (we like to be transparent about how your money is being used!).
  • You will not become the legal "owner" of a patient and will not be able to take your sponsored creatures home when they have recovered!
