Every year we host 3 on-site Open Weekends these are vital to our fundraising, at these events we have stalls where we sell items to visitors in order to raise funds for Brent Lodge. We really need some extra hands to support us with setting up, manning a stall and to assist with tidying away afterwards.
As well as our own fundraisers we also attend other external off-site events such as car-boots, fetes and fairs but with such a small team of volunteers that we currently have it isn’t always possible for us to attend. So we also really need some organised people that can attend events that we are invited to, this means transporting the stock to sell, setting up and serve customers.
These events are so important to raise awareness about Brent Lodge and to raise much needed funds to help care for the animals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with the public and serving customers.
Our Open Weekends happen in May, August and November. Our external events are seasonal and generally happen in the Spring/Summer months and in the lead up to Christmas. Any time you are able to spare would be much appreciated!
