Retail Gift Aid Admin Support


This volunteer role requires some assistance with our Retail Gift Aid scheme, including logging all purchases via our charity shops that are registered through the RGA scheme. It would also involve logging all new sign ups, using the details from the registration forms.

Retail Gift Aid is a scheme whereby donors bring in unwanted items to either of our shops, and if they are a UK taxpayer they can then sign up to the scheme. This means that every item we sell, that has donated by someone under the RGA scheme, we can claim a further 25% from HMRC at no extra cost to the buyer.

Our retail shops generate a huge income for the charity and log 100’s of purchases every month, this data logging is very important in order for us to be able to claim the correct funds from HMRC.

No experience is needed as training will be given and this role can either done remotely from home or on-site and Brent Lodge. Preferably we would need someone who is computer literate.


This will be an ongoing role throughout the year, monthly sales sheets will be given out at the end of each month, then the logging can be done at your leisure throughout the month until the next sales sheets are available.
