This money will help fund part of the new Hedgehog garden, which has been built to aid the re-habilitation of hoggy hospital residences; helping them get back to their natural habitat.

Thank you to Shanly Foundation for their generous £500 received August 2018 towards our Respect & Protect education programme. Our programme will help to educate and empower young people and the community in instilling respect, understanding and gratitude for our British wildlife which in return will help protect their future.
The Shanly Foundation aims to support causes that help individuals and benefit the local community, including support for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, the homeless, those with mental health issues and people with physical disabilities, injury or life limiting illness.
The Southern Co-operative is launched a refreshed new community programme; ‘Love your Neighbourhood’, which builds upon their history of supporting local groups and replaces our community support scheme that’s been running for 10 years. This should increase the positive impact and difference made to locak communities, reinforcing all three of our sustainability priorities to SHARE, PROTECT and SUPPORT.
With the support of a £250 donation from Felpham Funeral Care we were able to fund volunteer training and support during our new enclosure re-build.

They also support us with regular volunteering with various projects and helping with animal care.
Thanks to Tesco’s Bags of Help community grant scheme and the customers at Worthing, Littlehampton and Bognor Regis stores we bagged a total of £7,950. This will help to fund vital training and support to our volunteers also to further our community outreach, opening up volunteer opportunities in the local area. It will also help to educate the public with our new Respect & Protect wildlife education programme.
Bags of Help scheme was set up to support local groups with projects that will benefit the community. The scheme has been a fantastic success and we’ve been overwhelmed by the response from customers. It’s local people who decide how the money will be spent in their community.
The Country Inn – a traditional countryFree House which offers real ales, wines and great home cooked food in a relaxed informal environment. We are located north of the South Downs in the village of Bepton, one mile from the town of Midhurst in West Sussex. Midhurst is famous for the Cowdray Polo Gold Cup and its surrounding outstanding countryside. We are also close to Goodwood, Petersfield and Petworth.

The Hatcher Animal Welfare Trust was set up as a legacy trust by Mrs Roberta Hatcher, to aid animal welfare organisations with projects to help carry out their work to benefit animals.
A generous donation of £25,000 was gifted to us to start building 12 new outside bird of prey enclosures to house owls, kestrels and other large raptors. Allowing for more flight space resulting in better rehabilitation.
