​Hedgehog Awareness Week, organised annually by the British Hedgehog Preservation Society, takes place during the first week of May. It is an important time to raise awareness about hedgehogs in the UK and how we can all help protect these much loved but vulnerable animals.

 

Our dedicated team works tirelessly to provide expert care, veterinary treatment, warmth, nourishment, and rehabilitation. Every hedgehog is given the best care with the hope they can return safely to the wild, where they belong. With less than 1 million UK hedgehogs remaining, protecting every individual hedgehog truly matters.

 

The good news is that there are many simple ways you can help them thrive. Hedgehog Awareness Week is the perfect opportunity to support hedgehog casualties in our care and take action to protect those trying to survive in the wild.

 

To mark this special week we are pleased to partner with some generous and enthusiastic organisations and businesses to bring you our Hedgehog Raffle. THREE lucky winners are in with a chance to receive hedgehog goodies. Prizes have all been kindly donated and funding goes to help hedgehogs in our care at Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital.
