JOIN THE RACE TO SAVE WILDLIFE

Whether you want to challenge top speeds of a brown hare and join a marathon or take a slow and steady pace like a swift - we have access to hundreds of big or small sponsored events. So why not take on a meaningful challenge, join an event and raise donations to help save wildlife at Brent Lodge along the way.

 

We are thrilled to have partnered up with Run For Charity - a platform full of exciting challenges, 'tough mudders', marathons, family hikes or light runs. Simply browse our event hub to see what we have on offer or skip straight to big events such as Brighton Marathon, London Landmarks half marathon or Manchester Marathon to sign up today. There is even smaller and local challenges including Wittering's Beach Run, The Great South Run or the Southdown's Hike, if you wanted a slower pace.

We’ll set the registration fee and help you with everything you need to complete your charity run. We will also help you with your fundraising so that you raise as much as possible for wildlife. We are of course grateful for anything you are able to raise but if you are able to reach or even exceed the fundraising targets we set, then we would be thrilled - enabling us to help more wildlife in need at Brent Lodge Wildlife Hospital.

BRIGHTON MARATHON

Preston Rd, Brighton and Hove

Sunday, 4th April, 2027

Entry fee: £45 (normally £132)

Fundraising target: £450

The Brighton Marathon is one of the UK's favourite 26.2-milers. With a stunning backdrop of the sea in one of the country's most vibrant cities, the race gets bigger and better every year.

 

The marathon is just one part of the Brighton Marathon Weekend, an event that also encompasses The Mini Mile Races, the BM10k and the Brighton Marathon Exhibition.

HACKNEY HALF

Entry fee: £50 (normally £155)

Fundraising target: £500

A Half Marathon with a difference. Set your 2027 off to the right start by calling your friends to the Hackney Half start line in May 2027

 

The Hoka Hackney Half is the highlight of London's running calendar. This is an unforgettable weekend of movement, sport and entertainment. Expect pure vibrancy as the borough comes alive for a weekend of celebration.

The London Landmarks Half Marathon is a closed road, central London run and is the only half marathon to go through both the City of London and City of Westminster.

The event starts on Pall Mall, finished by Downing Street and had fabulous views of London’s most iconic landmarks including Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, Nelson’s Column, the Gherkin, the Shard, the Tower of London and the London Eye.

SOUTHDOWNS 12KM HIKE

Goodwood Racecourse, Chichester

The sell out South Downs Walk attracting over 1,000 participants is back. Starting at the stunning Glorious Goodwood Estate and then taking you deep into the heart of the South Downs National Park.

GREAT SOUTH RUN

The Great South Run is probably the world’s favourite 10 mile running event, with inspiring history, and glorious sea views guaranteed.
